Manchester United was unable to utilize their opportunity to move 3rd on the league table as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Southampton, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first 45 minutes provided three goals as both teams hit targets with Manchester United scoring twice.
It was a clear opportunity for the Red Devils to move third after Chelsea and Leicester City lost their games.
Southampton drew first blood when Armstrong scored in the 12th minute to give his side the advantage.

Martial made it 2-1 in the 23rd minute courtesy of a breakthrough and a clever assist from Bruno Fernandes.
The first half ended 2-1 in favour of Manchester United over their opponent Southampton.
Second Half Report
The second half provided just one goal which went the way of the away side who gave a good account of themselves.
It was a nervy second half as both teams were conscious in defending not to allow any goal to go in.
Manchester United came close on several occasions to score but the finishing wasn’t that good to result in a goal.
