Borussia Dortmund have given Manchester United a shocking August 10th deadline day to complete a deal for Jadon Sancho or forget it, MySportDab reports.
Sancho, valued at around £100m, is a long-term target for the Red Devils and Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as they look to improve their right wing attacking qualities.
According to MySportDab understands that Dortmund are keen to have the upperhand in any negotiations and they are hoping to force United’s hand into paying £100m.
Manchester City Coach Pep Guardiola has already ruled out the possibility of signing the youngster after his exit three years ago.
Sancho enjoyed another impressive season in Germany in which Dortmund ended the campaign as runners-up to Bayern Munich.
Across 32 Bundesliga matches, Jadon Sancho scored a total of 17 goals and provides 16 assists in the German league.
He finished the season as Dortmund’s top goalscorer and top assist maker in the Bundesliga.
Sancho joined Dortmund for just £8m from Man City back in 2017 and has gone on to become one of the best young players in world football.
Now, Borussia Dortmund are looking to make a huge profit should he leave this summer.
However, a potential transfer for Jadon Sancho could fail in the summer transfer window due to the financial impact of the Covid-19 crisis worldwide.
Swap deals to reduce the transfer fees are likely to be considered when negotiations start between Dortmund and United.
