Football pundits such as Robin Van Persie, Paul Scholes among others have praised Anthony Martial’s performance in Monday’s 1-0 win over Copenhagen, MySportDab reports.
The Frenchman was a very important player as United reached the semi-finals despite needing to reach extra-time for the winning goal.
The performance from Anthony Martial has been praised by some pundits.
Former Manchester United playe4 Owen Hargreaves said: ‘Everyone’s has their opinion on Anthony Martial. He’s a Ferrari. He’s like a £100m player.’
Paul Scholes, added: ‘He’s now turning into a more and more deadly striker.
‘He’s a brilliant goalscorer but tonight that final touch was not there.’
Robin van Persie also said: ‘Martial always watches out for his team-mates and that’s what makes him different from the others.
‘That’s why I believe he’s a world class player.’
Anthony Martial has faced endless criticism ever since his £54m transfer from Monaco in 2016 but has silenced his critics in 2020.
The 24-year-old has scored eight goals and provided six assists in Manchester United’s 13 games after the coronavirus break.
The 2019-20 campaign has already been Martial’s best at Manchester United ever.
