Arsenal have joined the race for Bayern Munich’s Thiago Alcantara who Liverpool are looking to complete his deal, MySportDab reports.
Liverpool might lose the opportunity of signing Alcantara after Arsenal joined the race for his signature.
The Reds already agreed on personal terms with the player but still waiting on Bayern Munich to agree on a deal.
Mikel Arteta has now shown interest in the player and he is eager to hijack the move from Liverpool.
No official bid has been made yet by those at the Emirates but the player is worth £28 million in the transfer market.
The English side recently agreed a £30 million move for Lille Gabriel Magalhaes who is set for medical.
Arsenal have now joined Liverpool in the hunt to sign Thiago Alcantara, according to claims by Daily Mail.
The German giants are keen to sell the 29-year-old this summer to free up space for new incoming players.
Alcantara is about to enter the final 12 months of his contract and cashing out on him will be a good idea.
