Barcelona have officially parted ways with their manager Quique Setien after Bayer Munich 8-2 humiliation, MySportDab reports.
Setien was shown the exit door after guiding Barcelona to one of their heaviest defeats in history.
Valverde was sacked and replaced by Setien and he failed to deliver as expected which has now seen him shown the exit door.
During his time with the club they lost the league title to Real Madrid despite sitting first before football break.
Another news that came out off the camp of Barca was the sacking of sporting director Eric Abidal.
The former player was sacked earlier last week after their Champions League exit which saw them lost 8-2.
Barcelona have now sacked manager Quique Setien on Sunday night, according to claims by COPE.
While official confirmation is expected to be announced today Monday about the club’s decision.
The Spanish outlet reports that club president Josep Maria Bartomeu has told them “Setien is out”.
The search for another manager has began with possible talks of Thierry Henry taking over the position.
Also there has been talks of Xavi coming back as the club coach which also sees them talking about Pochettino.
No official approach has been made for any of their targets after Arsene Wenger turned down their offer.
