OMG! Four Chelsea Players Test Positive For CoronaVirus!

Ahead of the new season, Chelsea have a new problem after four players tested positive for coronavirus, MySportDab reports.

The Blues confirmed the number of players that tested positive and are now in self-isolation.

The players will remain in quarantine and undergo another test in the coming weeks.

All Chelsea players took part in coronavirus tests last week ahead of their pre-season training return.

But after the positive results, a number of Chelsea players cannot return back to the club’s Cobham HQ.

Before the test on Chelsea’s players, last week there was a new rise in Covid-19 cases among Premier League Clubs.

Chelsea have refused to reveal the identity of the players that tested positive.

MySportDab understands that 12 different clubs confirmed Fourteen positive tests after players returned to pre-season training last week.

However, Chelsea have already confirmed the signing of left back Ben Chilwell in a £50million deal from Leicester.

The Blues are close to signing Kai Havertz from Bayern Leverkusen in a £90m deal.

Havertz will finalise his club record transfer from Bayer Leverkusen this week or next week.

Defender Thiago Silva is also set to join Chelsea on a free after leaving Paris Saint-Germain.

Chilwell signed a five-year contract and would earn £190,000 per week after a medical.

The 23-year-old is Chelsea’s third signing this summer after deals for Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner were confirmed last month.

Chelsea have fully backed Frank Lampard in the transfer market as they plans to challenge Liverpool and Manchester City next season.

Chelsea are also working to sign free agent Malang Sarr, before sending the 21-year-old defender out on loan.
