Chelsea have announced the signing of defender Malang Sarr on a free transfer after his contract expired at Nice, MySportDab reports.
The France International has signed a five-year contract with the Premier League club.
On Wednesday, Chelsea confirmed the arrival of Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.
21-year-old Sarr has now also signed for Chelsea on Thursday.
He left Ligue 1 club Nice this summer after the end of his contract.
MySportDab understands that Chelsea will now send Sarr out on loan for the 2020/21 season.
The Blues are hopeful that a loan would help Sarr gain more football experience and playing time.
Chelsea Transfer Genius Marina Granovskaia told chelseafc.com: ‘We could not miss the opportunity to sign Malang. He is a young prospect and we will monitor his progress closely during his loan.
‘We hope he will return back to Chelsea soon. We are very delighted to welcome him to the club.’
Malang Sarr had played for his French club Nice since he was five years old and at 17-years-old, he became a key player in their first team squad.
