Manchester City crashed out of the Uefa Champions League after losing 3-1 to Lyon as Moussa Dembele scored a brace to send his side into the semis, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The match kicked off with Manchester City tipped to get the win and move on to the next round.
Lyon had other plans for them in the first half of the match as they came prepared for anything.
The match went on with opportunities coming multiple times for both sides but they failed to convert.
It proved difficult for both teams to break each other down as their defense was on lockdown.
The French League side broke the deadlock in the 24th minute with an outside box strike from Maxwell Cornet.
The game was stopped as VAR reviewed the goal for a possible foul but it was later given as the game turned 1-0.

The second 45 minutes of the encounter was a game full of more attacking with more of it coming from the home side in the match.
City came close pulling level but after the nice buildup the finishing was bad to make anything happen.
Manchester City finally pulled level in the 69th minutes thanks to a lovely goal from Kevin De Bruyne to make it 1-1.
10 minutes later Lyon went ahead once again with a stunning goal from Dembele who found himself 1on1 with the goalkeeper.
The goal saw them went 2-1 over their opponent who did everything possible to get back in the game.
Dembele struck his brace for the game in the 87th minute after reacting fast to a lose ball to make it 3-1.
