Football Legend Rio Ferdinand believes that Lionel Messi would consider leaving Barcelona after their Champions League huge loss against Bayern Munich, MySportDab reports.
Despite his efforts, Messi could not stop a relentless German team as the Catalans were knocked out of the quarter-finals.
Speaking on BT Sport after the match, Ferdinand admitted that the Argentine will be tempted to consider his future elsewhere.
‘What is Messi thinking as he heads home tonight?’ Ferdinand asked.
‘Does he want to stay at Barcelona given this performances and based on how the squad can’t be compared with other European clubs.
‘Does he have the time to just sit and wait?”
‘Football is a sport that comes and goes very fast in your life so these next two years would be crucial for Messi.’
