Academy Star Mason Greenwood has won the Manchester United Player of the Month Award for July 2020, MySportDab reports.
Greenwood has scored scored 17 goals so far in his breakthrough season in the Premier League and across all competitions.
Greenwood won the award ahead of fellow teammates Anthony Martial and Bruno Fernandes in a fan voting poll.
The 18-year-old got 46 per cent of the votes on the Manchester United Official App.
After a fine run of performances, he scored four goals and won three Man-of-the-Match awards in matches against West Ham, Bournemouth and Aston Villa.
Anthony Martial finished in 2nd with (28 per cent) votes after a fantastic July full of assists and goals.
Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes finished in third with 26 per cent votes.
Greenwood’s progress in the 2019/20 season has put smiles of the faces of Manchester United fans around the world.
The 18-year-old’s form also improved since the Premier League restart after the COVID-19 pandemic delay.
Manchester United still have Europa League football this season and Greenwood can still score more goals.
The Reds Devils face LASK up next in the Europa League Last-16 2nd Leg at Old Trafford.
United have already qualified for next season Champions League which a huge boost for the club financially.
