World’s fastest man Usain Bolt has now tested positive for Coronavirus days after his birthday party in Jamaica, MySportDab reports.
According to a radio station in Jamaica Nationwide90fm, Bolt has been infected with the virus and will now start self-isolation.
MySportDab understands that Bolt took a Coronavirus test some days back after his party last week Friday.
However, On Sunday, the result returned positive.
Bolt was surprised with a shocking birthday party on August 21 which was attended by some top sports players.
Bayern Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey, Manchester City winger Sterling and cricket legend Chris Gayle were said to be in attendance.
Sterling’s season with Manchester City finished on August 15 after they were knocked out of the Champions League.
Manchester City have been given more time before they start the new 2020/21 season.
However, videos from the party showed Usain Bolt laughing with his guests and partying.
On social media, Usain Bolt hailed it as his ‘best birthday ever’ in a post.
It remains unknown if Bolt has any symptoms of the virus but reports in Jamaica suggest he would start self-isolation.
Jamaica has recorded 1,413 cases of coronavirus and 16 confirmed deaths from the virus, with more cases raising in recent days.
Over the last four days, Jamaica has 267 new confirmed cases.
