First Half Report

The first half of the encounter was very poor as both sides failed to hit the target after creating a few chances.

It was more of England controlling proceedings during the first 45 minutes of the match.

Opportunities came for both sides to go ahead in the game but they failed to convert and make it count.

Iceland tried breaking through but Gudmundsson’s header was terrible as it went wide.

It was more of England attacking and Iceland sitting back and waiting to hit them on the counter.

Declan Rice gave it a go in the 53rd minutes but his effort failed to hit the target as it went wide.

Kyle Walker was sent off in the 71st minute after he received his second yellow card of the game.

The game changed hand with the home team for the match getting a little bit of upper hand.

Sverrir Ingi Ingason was sent off also after he handled the ball in the penalty box.

Raheem Sterling stepped up and convert to give England a 1-0 in the last minutes of the game.
