Manchester United have now agreed personal terms with Porto left-back Alex Telles, MySportDab reports.
According to MySportDab sources, Alex Telles has agreed to sign a five-year contract with Manchester United.
Manchester United must now agree a transfer fee with Porto for the 27-year-old defender.
The Red Devils are determined to sign a left-back this summer and were keen on Real Madrid’s Sergio Reguilon.
However, Reguilon will now join Tottenham in a £27m deal today after his Old Trafford move failed.
Manchester United refused to include a buyback clause in Reguilon’s transfer from Real Madrid.
However, MySportDab understands that Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in Porto left-back Alex Telles.
The 27-year old will provide competition for Luke Shaw at the left-back position.
Telles has been at Porto for over five years and has played 192 matches for the Portuguese club.
Sources suggest that Porto want around €25m for Telles.
Manchester United begin their 2020-21 Premier League Season at home today against Crystal Palace (5.30pm).
