Manchester United are now considering a bid for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr as a short-term Jadon Sancho alternative, MySportDab reports.
According to The Independent, Manchester United have reached out to Watford about a potential bid for Sarr.
Manchester United still want Jadon Sancho but must consider other options before the transfer window closes.
Borussia Dortmund want £108m for the winger and have refused to accept fees in installments.
Manchester United are only ready to pay £80m upfront in the current transfer window and the rest to be paid in later or with add-ons.
Due to the fact both clubs can’t find an agreement, Manchester United have now identified Sarr as a possible alternative.
Sarr impressed for Watford last season and will most likely leave after their relegation.
The 22-year-old is valued at £30m by the Championship club.
Liverpool have also shown interest in the player, but after paying £20m [plus £5m] for Thiago Alcantara, they might not have enough funds.
That leaves Manchester United with the free door and Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains determined to sign a new winger this summer.
Manchester United are ready to wait until the final days of the transfer window to make a new bid and convince Borussia Dortmund to lower their demands.
