Tottenham Coach Jose Mourinho has put midfielder Dele Alli up for sale, MySportDab reports.
“I’m not in charge of the market,” Mourinho said.
“I can’t answer your question on that. I can tell you that i left eight players behind.
“They are not a small group and Dele was in that group. That’s the same way a squad is a puzzle and same thing for the bench.
“I can’t play with three wingers and a playmaker and no defender. Dele is out today but he might play on Tuesday.
“I want my squad to be balanced. Yes, he can be part of a balanced squad and doesn’t need to be sacrificed.”
Tottenham resume football action on Tuesday night, when they face Leyton Orient in the Carabao Cup third round.
