Manchester United summer signing Donny van de Beek has arrived at the Carrington training complex to start his new football journey, MySportDab reports.
Manchester United signed the midfielder from Ajax in a £40m deal.
The 23-year-old has now arrived in England to meet Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and join his new teammates after international football with Holland.
Manchester United start the new Premier League season on September 19 against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.
However, Van de Beek’s arrival has brought some excitement for Manchester United fans around the world.
Fans believe Van De Beek can form a midfield partnership with Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.
After playing for the Netherlands in their match against Italy on Monday night, Van de Beek said goodbye to Ajax’s fans supporters outside the Johan Cruyff stadium.
They played songs for him, held banners paying tribute and set off fireworks.
Van De Beek was moved by the gesture from the Ajax fans and he got out of the car and responded to them.
Van de Beek joined Ajax as a youth player in 2008 and became a fans favourite over the years.
He scored 41 goals and provided 34 assists in 175 matches for the Dutch club.
Speaking about Van De Beek, Solskjaer said: ‘Donny has all the technical abilities needed to perform here and has the perfect personality we require to succeed here at Manchester United.
‘His quality to see open space, move quick and read the game very well will add to the quality we already have in midfield.
‘His arrival has strengthened the depth of quality we have in that midfield position.’
Manchester United finished third last season in the Premier League and reached the Europa League semi-final.
