West Ham Coach David Moyes and two of his players have tested positive for COVID-19, MySportDab reports.
David Moyes and the players were sent home from the Stadium after test returned positive result.
West Ham midfielder Josh Cullen and Defender Issa Diop are the two players who tested positive.
Youngster Harrison Ashby and midfielder Jack Wilshere called in to replace Diol and Cullen.
David Moyes’ assistant Alan Irvine was in charge of the match.
A club statement from West Ham said:
“West Ham can confirm that David Moyes, Josh Cullen, and Issa Diop have all tested positive for COVID-19.
“Our medical team were informed of the results before our Carabao Cup third round match against Hull City.
“The Coach and both players left the stadium immediately and returned home.
“All three will now follow the Public Health England guidelines and protocols.
“We at West Ham United wish them the best.”
Yesterday, Tottenham’s match against Leyton Orient was postponed because the League Two club had over five confirmed Covid-19 cases.
