AC Milan Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now tested positive for coronavirus, MySportDab reports.
The news comes just before AC Milan’s Europa League qualifier match against Norway club Bodo/Glimt.
The 38-year-old will now miss the match at San Siro on Thursday.
AC Milan confirmed in a club statement that Ibrahimovic is now in quarantine at home.
A club statement read: ‘Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned a positive result for Covid-19 after a second round of swab tests ahead the match tonight against Bodo/Glimt.
‘We has informed all relevant authorities and Ibrahimovic is now in quarantine at home. Other team members and staffs have now tested negative.’
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the second AC Milan player to test positive for Covid-19 after defender Leo Duarte returned a positive result on Tuesday.
Ibrahimovic has impressed for AC Milan since the start of the new season.
He scored a brace in AC Milan’s Serie A opening match against Bologna last week.
Ibrahimovic may also miss next week’s Europa League match against Besiktas or Rio Ave should AC Milan reach the next round.
