FIFA has now announced that President Gianni Infantino has tested positive for CoronaVirus, MySportDab reports.
The 50-year-old has contracted the virus and will now start his self-isolation.
According to MySportDab sources, Infantino showed little signs of being infected with Covid-19.
Also, all the people that came into contact with him over the past few days have been informed.
FIFA issued a statement on Tuesday, and confirmed plans for the federation President.
A statement from FIFA, read: ‘FIFA President Gianni Infantino has being informed that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
‘The FIFA president, who showed mild signs, has now placed himself in self-isolation and will remain in isolation for the next ten days.
‘Everyone who came in contact with the FIFA president over the last few days have been informed and are now required to take the necessary precautions.
‘FIFA wishes president Infantino a speedy, and safe recovery.’

Italian club Lazio are now in chaos amid fears of a CoronaVirus outbreak in their Champions League squad.
The Serie A club play Club Brugge away on Wednesday night in the Champions League but Coach Simone Inzaghi has only 12 players available after training.
