Man United are set to welcome back fans into Old Trafford as measures are already in place for them to safely come to watch games, MySportDab reports.
The Club has put out a statement concerning their plans to start allowing fans into the stadium to watch games.
Man United are waiting for the UK government to give the green for stadiums to reopen as the Covid-19 cases seem to be going down.
The last time fans were allowed into Old Trafford was during the Manchester Derby which ended 2-0.
The plans for Stadiums to open were first fixed for October but with recent developments, it was postponed.
Plans have been in place with Man United ready to start welcoming fans back into their home ground.
“We were really disappointed when the government decided not to allow fans back in the stadium in October because we’ve got everything in place to make sure we can do so safely,” Roche told Sky Sports News.
Roche Added:
“As you have seen today, we’ve got all the COVID security measures and other processes ready to go.
We spent around two months working with the government guidelines to develop the right processes and measures to make sure that we can have around 23,500 people in this stadium safely social distancing.
It’s quite bemusing to understand why people can gather in other settings such as on an aeroplane or restaurant.
Or even in a cinema to watch football, when we know we’ve got the plans and the process is ready to deliver a match day here safely,” she said.
