Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed that it is his dream to one day play for Real Madrid, MySportDab reports.

Pogba’s future has been unclear over the past two years at Manchester United.

The France World Cup winner is now in the final year of his Manchester United contract but there’s a clause to extend for another a year which United might trigger.

However, there are major doubts about Pogba signing a new long-term contract at Old Trafford.

That leaves the door open for a transfer next summer when clubs decided to submit a bid for Paul Pogba.

Pogba is a long term target for Real Madrid but a transfer has failed to be completed.

Speaking about the possibility of working with Zinedine Zidane, Pogba said: “We have all heard the rumours that are in the news. Want me to respond? Okay, all footballers would love the opportunity to play for Real Madrid. It’s a dream.

“It is a dream for me personally, why not? Like I have said before, I am a Manchester United player and I love my club.

“I am doing very well at Manchester United, I am enjoying my football and am doing everything I can to get us back where we should be. I am ready to give everything, like my teammates.”

Pogba also revealed that he is yet to discuss with United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward about a contract.

He added: “I prefer to focus more on football and return to fitness. Nothing has been said to me.

“I am yet to speak with Ed Woodward. We have not discussed an extension. Right now, I am at Manchester United and I am doing everything to hit my best form.

“I think the club will still come to speak to me and offer me something, or maybe not. For now, nothing has happened.

“I can’t tell you what I don’t know about. I am only thinking about me, to come back and to give my best performances for the club.”

Paul Pogba is currently on international duty with the France national team before returning to England to resume his season with Manchester United.
