Diogo Jota bags hat-trick as Liverpool thrashed Atalanta 5-0 away from home as Sadio Mane and Salah hit target, MySportDab reports
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was good as the away side scored twice with them dominating the game.
Diogo Jota scored in the 16th minute of the match to give Liverpool a 1-0 after he converted from a stunning strike.
Atalanta did make some opportunities from the game but they couldn’t find the back of the net as the game progressed.
Jota made it 2-0 in the 33rd minute as he extended his side lead before the end of the first half.
It ended Atalanta 0-2 Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s side took the advantage heading for the break.
Second Half Report
The second 45 minutes of the encounter was much better as more goals were scored by the visiting team.
Mohamed Salah made it 3-0 for Liverpool in the 47th minutes before Sadio Mane made it 4-0 in the 49th minute.
Atalanta was left confused and unsure what to do as they kept on conceding on every attacks thrown at them.
Diogo Jota made it 5-0 in the 55th minute which made it his hattrick for the game after a superb performance.
