Cristiano Ronaldo first half goals were enough to hand Juventus a 2-0 in the Lega Serie A encounter against Cagliari, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was entertaining as Juve dominated and recorded two goalss with 45 minutes of play.
Cagliari kept their opponent at bay in the early minutes of the game as their backline was right and strong.
It took Cristiano Ronaldo 38 minutes to give Juventus the lead in the game after converting to make it 1-0.
The Portuguese Legend scored his second to make it 2-0 in the 42nd minute of the encounter which was a sitter.
The first half ended Juventus 2-0 Cagliari as Andrea Pirlo’s side headed for the break with the advantage.
Second Half Report
The second half was evenly matched with no goal scored amongst both sides who had opportunities.
It was more of a Juventus half as the created most of the chances going forward but failed to convert them.
Cagliari were lucky on several occasions when they failed to clean up an attack thrown to them in the second half.
The game carried on without a goal as it ended with Juventus 2-0 Cagliari, which saw the League Champions claimed three points.
