Riyad Mahrez scored a hat trick as Man City thrashed Burnley 5Nil with other goals coming from Benjamin Mendy and Ferran Torres, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the game was filled with lots of goals coming from the Citizens who scored three and dominated the half.
It took Riyad Mahrez just 6 minutes to get the opener from a fantastic finish which saw Man City took a 1-0 in the encounter.
Burnley were totally clueless as the home team hit them once again in the 22nd minute with another goal from Mahrez to make it 2-0.
Benjamin Mendy scored the last in the 41st minute after a great build up play which ended the first half Man City 3-0 Burnley.
Second Half Report
The second half was the same with three goals scored but one was chopped off by VAR in the entertaining encounter.
Burnley looked tired and not motivated to make anything happen before they conceded a fourth goal with Ferran Torres making it 4-0 in the 66th minute.
Man City were still hungry for more goals as they continued to feast on their opponent which Riyad Mahrez scored his 3rd to make it 5-0 in the 69th minute.
Peacock-Farrell own goal would have made it 6nil but it was ruled out by VAR as the match ended
