Chelsea beat Newcastle 2-0 in the Premier League thanks to an own goal and Tammy Abraham who scored in the second half of the game, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was dominated by Frank Lampard side who managed to get one goal from an error in the 45 minutes.
It took 10 minutes for Chelsea to get their first goal after Ben Chilwell forced Fernandez to commit and own goal to put the ball inside his net 1-0.
Newcastle had little or more to do as they sat back hoping for a counter to pull back level in the game.
The game progressed with no goal despite more opportunities created by both sides going forward.
The first half ended Newcastle 0-1 Chelsea as Frank Lampard side headed for the break with the advantage.
Second Half Report
The second half began with the same tempo as the away side continued to dominate the game going forward.
Newcastle cause some troubles for their opponent as Hayden almost scored from an error in the defense.
Tammy Abraham scored in the 65th minute to give Chelsea a 2-0 lead as Timo Werner sprint forward beating two defenders to make the assistance.
That was the last goal as it ended with Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea, which sees the Blues go top of the league.
