Liverpool midfielder James Milner is the latest player from the Merseyside club to get injured, MySportDab reports.

Milner limped off against Brighton with a hamstring problem.

He has been known as ‘Mr.Reliable’ for Liverpool over the past few years, playing in different positions to provide Jurgen Klopp some options.

The Veteran has often played on both sides of defence but he was allowed to play in midfield against Brighton.

Before the injury, Milner played an important role in stopping Brighton’s attacking threat.

But it did not end as Milner was forced off with the surprise injury in the second half.

The 34-year-old was rushed to by Liverpool’s medical staffs to help him out.

However, Liverpool have now confirmed after the match that James Milner suffered an hamstring injury.

The former Manchester City player was in some discomfort as he tried to hide his agony with his shirt.

At half-time, Jordan Henderson was brought on to replace Neco Williams, which meant that Klopp didn’t have an option at right-back to replace Milner.

But, Curtis Jones was chosen and played a role on the right-side of Liverpool’s defence.

When asked over the severity of the latest injury problem, Jurgen Klopp said ‘congratulations’ and continued his rant about the fixture schedule.

‘You work for them,’ he told BT Sport.

Ask Chris Wilder how we can work it out. I don’t know how many times I have to say this but you decided the 12:30 match kick offs.

‘From now and December there is one more Wednesday, Saturday. These is a difficult period. I am just saying what it is. Wednesday to Saturday 12:30 is dangerous.’

Liverpool have a hectic fixture schedule in the coming weeks.
