Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny has now tested positive for CoronaVirus, MySportDab reports.
Elneny is on international duty with the Egypt national team.
His positive result comes three days after Egypt team-mate Mohamed Salah also tested positive for the virus.
Elneny was among the Egypt squad in Togo that prepared for the upcoming African Cup of Nations qualifier on Tuesday.
A statement from the Egypt Football Association confirmed that he is asymptomatic and he will now return back to Cairo.
Elneny’s agent Alan Nazmy tweeted, and wrote: “Elneny Positive for Covid-19, get well soon.”
Elneny will now miss the Premier League match against Leeds United on Sunday and is a major doubt for the Europa League clash at Molde on Thursday.
He has played very well at Arsenal under Mikel Arteta this season.
The 28-year-old was on loan in Turkey at Besiktas for last season and his Arsenal career appeared to be over.
But, Mikel Arteta has trusted the midfielder to become a key member of his first-team squad.
Elneny has now started five of Arsenal’s eight Premier League matches this season.
His best performance was in the 1-0 win at Manchester United which left Mikel Arteta very impressed.
