PSG thrashed Basaksehir 5-2 in the conclusion of yeaterday’s postponed matched as Neymar scored a hat trick while Kylian Mbappe hit brace, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was entertaining as it was continued from where it stopped last night which saw Paris Saint-Germain scored three goals.
It took Neymar just 21 minutes to open the goalscoring after the Brazilian converted to make it 1-0 with the assistance from Marco Veratti before making it 2-0 in the 38th minute.
Basaksehir couldn’t make a comeback as they were totally dominated in the encounter which saw Bakker scored but the goal didn’t count and later on Mbappe increased the lead 3-0 from the penalty spot.
The first half ended with PSG 3-0 Basaksehir as they both headed for the first 45 minutes break with advantage the Ligue one side.
Second Half Report
The second half was also fantastic as both side found the back of the net with the home side scoring more of the goals.
Neymar grabbed his hattrick in the 50th minute after finishing off a Di Maria assisted pass to make it 4-0 as PSG continued to dominate the match.
Basaksehir pulled one back through Topal in the 57th minute of the encounter before Kylian Mbappe registered his second goal in the 62nd minute to make it 5-1.
The match ended with PSG 5-1 Basaksehir as the French Champions book their ticket to the next round of the UEFA Champions League.
