Olivier Giroud scored four goals as Chelsea beat Sevilla in Spain 4-0 in the UEFA Champions League after playing goalless in the first leg in England, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was exciting as it provided just one goal which was scored by the away side who created more chances.
It took Olivier Giroud 8 minutes to get the first goal for Chelsea as Kai Havertz teams up with the Frenchman to make it 1-0 for the Blues with a lovely goal.
Sevilla failed to make anything happen despite taking control of ball possession later in the match but their finish was poor without hitting target.
The first half ended with Sevilla 0-1 Chelsea as Frank Lampard side headed for the break with the advantage after a very good display.
Second Half Report
The second half was much more better than the first as the Blues brutalized their opponent who were clueless and hopeless throughout.
Olivier Giroud makes it 2-0 for Chelsea in the 54th minute after converting from an outstanding pass from Kovacic before converting.
Sevilla couldn’t reply as the goals kept pouring in the match which Giroud once again scored another one in the 74th minutes to make it 3-0.
He later went on to score another one from the penalty spot in the 83rd minute as it ended with Sevilla 0-4 Chelsea.
