Vinicius and Le Celso both scored in the second half as Tottenham best Royal Antwerp 2-0 to finish top of their group in the Europa League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was evenly matched as both sides played out a goalless draw despite several opportunities created by the two sides.
Royal Antwerp was pegged back most of the half as they couldn’t see much of the ball but they managed to create some good chances.
Tottenham had much to do going forward as they dominated much percentage of the match but couldn’t capitalize on their chances.
The first half ended with Tottenham 0-0 Royal Antwerp as they both headed for the break with a goalless scoreline.
Second Half Report
The second half was much different as the game tempo increased which saw goals scored in the second 45 minutes with good football.
Vinicius broke the deadlock to give Tottenham a 1-0 lead after scoring in the 60th minute after teaming up with Gareth Bale who provided the assist.
Royal Antwerp couldn’t hold up the game as they conceded another goal which was scored by Lo Celso in the 71st minute to make it 2-0 with an assist from Harry Kane.
The match ended with Tottenham 2-0 Royal Antwerp as Spurs claimed three points to finish top of the table.
