Lionel Messi surpasses Pele’s record as he helped Barcelona beat Real Valladolid 3-0 with other goals coming from Martin Braithwaite and Lenglet, MySportDab reports.

The first half was perfect for Barca who had more space to navigate and torment their opponent as they scored twice.
Barcelona opened the goal scoring in the 21st minutes as Lenglet scored to give his side a 1-0 lead with an assist from Lionel Messi.
Real Valladolid couldn’t contain the press on them as Martin Braithwaite doubled the lead to 2-0 in the 35th after teaming up with Sergino Dest.

The second half showed some impressive display from the home side who were a bit good at defending.
Real Valladolid had some good opportunities too but they couldn’t see to making it count for them as the game progressed.
Lionel Messi made it 3-0 for Barcelona in the 65th minute of the encounter which saw him surpassed Pele’s record thanks to assistance from Pedri.
The match ended with Real Valladolid 0-3 Barcelona as the Spanish giant claimed three points and a very crucial win.
