Diogo Jota is now expected to miss Liverpool’s match against Fulham on Sunday due to a fresh knee injury, MySportDab reports.
Jota is now ruled out of Liverpool’s match against Fulham in the Premier League on Sunday.
Jota picked up a knee injury and will miss the Craven Cottage trip.
Liverpool are said to be anxious about the severity of the injury as the club continue tests on the Portugal international.
Jota’s injury now adds him to the long list of fitness issues for Liverpool so far this season.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Friday, Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp provided an update about his injured players.
On Friday, Klopp did not rule out Jota playing completely but said Kostas Tsimikas was a major doubt for the match at Craven Cottage.
“Kostas, we are not sure,” Klopp said.
“Diogo has a knock also.
“Oxlade-Chamberlain is in normal training. Nobody else is coming back, I’m afraid.”
