Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba’s uncertain future may result in the club accepting a little fee for him, MySportDab reports.
Juventus remain determined to sign their former player but won’t pay a large sum for the French midfielder.
Pogba was a Juventus player between 2012 and 2016, and is now set to leave Old Trafford again.
A move looks more likely at the end of the season but the Italian club could submit a bid in the January transfer window.
According to Sports Outlet Eurosport, Juventus know they would face more competition for Pogba’s signature this summer months so they would try to sign him in January instead.
Real Madrid are also interested in signing Pogba but a move to Spain is only possible in the summer.
Now, Juventus believe they can sign the player for €55m which is less than the €110m fee Manchester United paid to seal his return.
The Red Devils want to recoup at least £80million for the player but have accepted they may have to let him go for less than lose him for free.
One player mentioned as part of a potential swap from Juventus for Pogba is Manchester United Legend Cristiano Ronaldo but any swap deal would prove difficult due to wages.
In the current 2020-21 season, Pogba has scored twice and provided two assists across all competitions for Manchester United.
The World Cup winner was introduced as a substitute in the 2-2 draw against Leicester City on Saturday.
Pogba joined the Manchester United youth academy as a young boy in 2009 before his free transfer move to Italy three years later.
The 27 year old won four league titles with Juventus in Italy, and established himself as one of the best midfielders in the world.
