Paul Pogba’s Mino Raiola has now admitted that a January exit from Manchester United is unlikely, MySportDab reports.
Raiola caused chaos just before United’s Champions League defeat against Leipzig last week when he said that Pogba’s time was up at Old Trafford.
A few days later, Pogba pledged his commitment to the club but never said he wants to stay.
The Red Devils now face a tough decision in the summer about if they can recoup the world record £89m they paid Juventus for Pogba in 2016 or risk losing him for free.
However, a January transfer window is unlikely with Raiola speaking on Monday night.
‘I only talked about next summer not mid-season,’ said Raiola.
‘It’s difficult to see top clubs make these kind of transfers in January. Let’s see what happens next summer.
‘Pogba has a great future ahead of him in football. In England, they’re sensitive when you talk anything related to Pogba.
‘I only expressed my thoughts. I’ve said that Paul is more likely to leave United in the summer, it’s hard for top deals in January.’
However, According to MySportDab sources, left-back Brandon Williams could join Southampton on loan in January.
The youngster has had his playing time reduced since Alex Telles signed from Porto in October.
