AC Milan and Chelsea set to reach an agreement which will see Fikayo Tomori make a move to the LEGA Serie A side who tops their League, MySportDab reports.
The England International made his debut for the Three Lions last year which was same time Tammy Abraham was also called up but he has failed to replicate such form after coming back from a shot spell injury which was the reason for him losing his spot in the starting XI.
Milan are closing in on a deal that will see them sign Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori on loan until the end of the season with a purchase option of £25 million ($34m) with confirmation coming from Goal.
MYSPORTDAB can also confirm that the move is set to go down anytime soon with agreement done and the deal looks good to possibly be official within 24 hours.
Strasbourg defender Mohamed Simakan had been the Rossoneri’s primary target, but the Frenchman, who is also a target of RB Leipzig.
Another reason is being that he needs surgery and will be sidelined for around two months which means they had to make another plan for the Chelsea man to come in for his place.
Milan have been following 23-year-old Tomori for some time and only a few details of the deal need to be confirmed before the transfer is made official by the Italia club.
AC Milan currently sits top of the Lega Serie table as they keep pushing for the League title with Juventus out of the race.
