Manchester United are now top of the Premier League table for the first time in forever, MySportDab reports.
The Red Devils secured a much needed 1-0 win against Burnley on Tuesday night at Turf Moor.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was evenly match with both sides getting fair amount of chances with no one finding the back of the net.
Burnley had so much to do defending as the Red Devils pressed them so much hoping to break them and get the opener which didn’t come.
Man United had everything going their way except a goal which proved too difficult to come as Nick Pope denied them on several occasions.
The first half ended with Burnley 0-0 Man United as they both headed for the break without a goal scored from both teams.
Second Half Report
Manchester United started the second half more lively with good chances early on.
United should have scored more than 1 goal today but the Burnley defence showed their quality in today’s match.
But in the 72nd minute, Pogba scored a fantastic goal to give Manchester United 1-0 lead.
The Red Devils held on to the lead and the match ended 1-0.
