Man City advanced to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup after beating Birmingham City 3-0 as Bernardo Silva scored twice while Phil Foden hit target, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half was all about the Citizens who had total control which saw them score three goals while they dominated the entire play.
Man City took the lead in the 8th minutes through Bernardo Silva who scored an early goal after great play saw Portuguese made it 1-0.
Birmingham had some good run but their opponent was too much for them to handle as they conceded a second goal through Bernardo Silva in the 15th minute making it 2-0.
The game progressed with Phil Foden making it 3nil in the 33rd minute as the first half ended with Man City 3-0 Birmingham as they both headed for the break.
Second Half Report
The second half was evenly matched as no goals was recorded while the away side showed the quality they are made off.
Birmingham did improved in the second 45 minutes as they were more solid defending while they pose some threats going forward.
Man City had the game under control but they couldn’t add to their lead which wasn’t too much of a concern as the already wrapped up the game.
The match ended with Man City 3-0 Birmingham as Pep Guardiola’s side advance to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup.
