Manchester United Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has now reacted after his team’s 2-1 Premier League win against Fulham, MySportDab reports.
Ademola Lookman put Fulham ahead early in the first half at Craven Cottage, hitting the ball past David De Gea.
But Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba both scored to give Manchester United all three points.
United did not play at their best against Fulham.
But they still secured all three points regardless, and moved ahead of Manchester City back to the top of the table.
Pogba’s shocking second-half goal was the match decider and Solskjaer has now hailed the Frenchman.
“We started quite slow but after they scored the first goal I felt we played better. We had to wake up quickly and after that we played well,” he said.
“We rarely do offsides, we must follow the run. We had not woken up but still a good reaction.
“Stunning strike by Paul and we had some good chances to finish the game off but of course we did not take them.
“He, Paul has really improved in recent weeks. He’s fit, he can play in midfield or on the wing.
“That is why he is Paul, keeping him match fit and and he is right now. He played well.”
Manchester United have returned back to the top of the table, But Solskjaer is refusing to say his team are title contenders.
“Yes it will be talked about that when you are in the middle of a season and top of the league but we don’t care about this.
“We just have to win each game that comes along. It is an unpredictable season for anybody.”
Paul Pogba himself was also excited after the match.
“It was a difficult game and a key win,” he said.
“We knew it won’t be easy. They press well and stayed compact. We had to come back from behind and we needed to win.
“I played the ball well. I didn’t expect it to score with my left foot like that.
“It was beautiful and am important win. It is not my favourite goal ever but it was magical.”
