Manchester United are ready to battle Chelsea for the signature of midfielder Declan Rice this summer, MySportDab reports.
According to ESPN, Coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to improve his squad at the end of the season.
Solksjaer wants to sign a forward, defender and a defensive midfielder.
Declan Rice is among the options being considered by Manchester United, but there are different obstacles to complete a deal with West Ham.
The Hammers value the midfielder at £70m.
MySportDab understands that United are behind Chelsea in the list clubs should Rice be allowed to leave this summer.
Chelsea are currently the favourites to sign him from West Ham, after they released the England star at the age of 14.
Last week, The Mirror claimed that Rice has told friends that he’s not interested in a move to Manchester.
Rice has played 19 matches for West Ham across all competitions so far this season.
He is under contract at the London Stadium until 2024, with the club having an option to extend the contract for an extra year.
Manchester United are willing to spend big this summer to challenge for more trophies, with Paul Pogba likely to leave.
Untied could also try to sign a central midfielder this summer, but that will depends on whether Paul Pogba stays in Manchester.
Paul has 18 months left on his contract but has found his form since his agent Mino Raiola said his time at the club was over.
