Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear he wont be allowing Jesse Lingard leave despite links of him making a loan move out despite extending his deal, MySportDab reports.
The winger has had it hard at Old Trafford after being limited to fewer game time over the past two seasons after the Norwegian arrival at the club.
Jesse Lingard looks to remain at Manchester United despite him wanting to leave to get more playing time which he has been deprived at the club.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to keep Jesse Lingard at Manchester United beyond the end of the current transfer window, according to reports from ESPN.
The 28-year-old is determined to leave Old Trafford in search of regular minutes, but the Red Devils head coach is hoping to persuade him, to stay put amid this season’s congested fixture schedule.
Lingard has only appeared in three games for United in 2020-21, and has been linked with the likes of Inter Milan, Nice, Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield United and West Ham United.
Real Sociedad is the recent team which was close completing a loan move which now looks unlikely to happen for the player before the end of the window.
