Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea and Roman Abramovich is ready to fund the move according to source, MySportDab reports.
Since the Norwegian move to German he has been one of the most hottest strikers in Europe with his goalscoring prowess.
Chelsea will be hoping they can get to sign the Borussia Dortmund man Erling Haaland who is also linked to other top clubs.
Real Madrid and Manchester United are said to be also interested in bringing the player to their team.
Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol has claimed that Chelsea will make Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland their main target to replace Olivier Giroud.
He Added Saying:
“We know how good he has been since he moved there and he has a release clause of 75 million euros, but that release clause is in the summer of 2022,” he said.
“Because of the pandemic, most clubs will not have money to spend in the summer, but of course we saw last summer that as far as Chelsea are concerned, they view that as an opportunity.
“Roman Abramovich is one of the richest men in the world, so Chelsea have the money to do the deal in the summer if they can convince Dortmund to sell and convince Haaland to come to Stamford Bridge.”
They won’t be the only side fighting for the signature of the player as the likes of Manchester United who almost signed the player before his move to Germany.
