West Ham United have continued to push further for the signature of Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud as they look to replace Ajax bound Haller, MySportDab reports.
The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Chelsea after failing to get much player time with the Club.
OIivier Giroud is currently Chelsea’s highest gaol scorer in the UEFA Champions League despite getting limited play time.
West Ham United will be hoping they can complete a move for the prolific striker who is eager to get more game time ahead of Euros2021.
Frank Lampard on the other hand has made it clear that he won’t be selling Olivier Giroud as he is still needed in the team.
The Hammers are eyeing up the Blues forward to replace their record signing who recently joined the club.
West Ham want to sign Olivier Giroud from Chelsea to replace Ajax-bound Sebastian Haller, according to claims Eurosport.
Ajax are set to complete a £23 million deal for Haller, which will leave the Hammers needing attacking reinforcements to complete the season.
Giroud, who is on the fringes of the Blues first-team, has been identified as a target for West Ham, who want a reliable source of goals to aid their push for European football next season.
