Chelsea resume their Champions League campaign today with a match against Atletico Madrid, MySportDab reports.

Since Thomas Tuchel arrived at Chelsea, the Blues have won 13 Premier League points from 15 point and moving closer to the top four.

Atletico Madrid are also in good form and still top of the La Liga table by some margin.

Chelsea Team News

Goalkeeper – Mendy

Tuchel is likely to start Mendy against Atletico Madrid today despite Kepa being available.

Kepa recently got his chance to impress Tuchel and he kept a clean sheet.

Defence – Zouma, Azpilicueta, Rudiger

With Thiago Silva not exactly fit, Zouma should start today against Atletico Madrid.

Cesar Azpilicueta is a totally new man under Tuchel, playing a key role in that defence alongside Antonio Rudiger.

Midfield – Hudson-Odoi, Kante, Kovacic, Chilwell

Hudson-Odoi was taken off 30 minutes after coming on in the Southampton match but could get his chance to prove himself against Atletico Madrid.

Kante is back after a long time out and should keep his place in the team.

Mateo Kovacic has impressed for Chelsea in recent weeks.

Meanwhile, Chilwell has not played much due to the current rotation with Marcos Alonso

Attack – Mount Werner Giroud

Mason Mount is start to show why Frank Lampard does not drop him during his time at Chelsea.

Timo Werner is starting to get used to life in the Premier League after a poor start to his debut season.

Olivier Giroud should start with Abraham still a fresh injury concern.
