Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has already marked the first anniversary since he signed for the club, MySportDab reports.
Fernandes hopes to remain a Manchester United player at Old Trafford for many years.
The Portuguese midfielder signed in January 2020 from Sporting to join Manchester United for £47m.
In 53 matches across all competitions, Bruno has scored 28 goals and has 18 assists.
His goals and assits tally is better than any other top player in the Premier League.
The only players in Europe’s top five leagues over the last 1 year with more goals involvements are by Robert Lewandowski, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, After the Arsenal draw, Fernandes shared a message on his Instagram page.
‘This is not the result I want to use to celebrate my first year as a Manchester United player, but we must continue working to improve,’ he wrote.
‘It’s an honor to play football for Manchester United football club.
‘The history of this club is based on wins, many trophies. I am here to help continue that legacy, and I won’t stop.
‘I would love to thank the fans for your support. Hopefully, this is only my first year of many together here. Glory glory Manchester United!’
Despite his winner in the FA Cup against Liverpool, Fernandes has not been involved in a Premier League goal from his last five matches.
This is his longest dry period in the league since he joined Manchester United and his side have scored only four goals across those matches.
Manchester United fans hope Fernandes will be on the scoresheet again when they host Southampton at Old Trafford.
