Two goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ensured Arsenal make a stunning comeback to beat Benfica 3-2 to progress to the next round of Europa League, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
The first half of the encounter was evenly matched with so much entertainment as both teams found the back of the net.
Arsenal drew first blood in the 21st minutes as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the opener with an outstanding finish to make it 1-0.
Benfica struggled until they were able to scored the leveler which came in the 43rd minute through Diogo Goncalves who was able to off with ease.
The first half ended with Arsenal 1-1 Benfica as both sides settled for a draw tie before the break.
Second Half Report
More goals came in from both sides who were exceptional going forward while the Gunners had more to smile about.
Benfica took the lead in the 61st minutes through a goal from Rafa Silva who made sure his side went ahead in the game 2-1.
Arsenal did everything possible until they pulled back level 2-2 in the 67th minute through Kieran Tierney with assistance from Willian.
Aubameyang finally grabbed a late winner which saw the encounter ending with Arsenal 3-2 Benfica as the Gunners progress to the round of 16.
