Chelsea spent big last summer under Frank Lampard but the Blues are thought to be among the front-runners in the race for Haaland.
The Club will be taking the fight to clubs like Manchester City, United and Real Madrid who are also interested in the player.
No official deal has been brought forward yet but the Blues might be forced to make an early move so they don’t miss out on the player.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was also said to be in contact with Erling Haaland over the week as he is much open to a move to Old Trafford.
