Chelsea Star N’Golo Kante Injured On France International Duty (Details)

Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has now suffered an hamstring injury while playing on international duty with the France national team, MySportDab reports.

Kante tweaked the muscle close to the end of France’s 1-1 draw against Ukraine at the Stade de France.

Kante will not play any part in France’s next two World Cup qualifier matches and has now been sent back to Chelsea.

France confirmed Kante’s injury, and revealed scans results.

Following the scan, he was immediately sent home to undergo treatment at Chelsea.

France released an statement, which read: ‘N’Golo Kante will not play in the next two matches of the French national team in Kazakhstan and in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

‘Kante felt a pain in his hamstring at the end of the match against Ukraine at the Stade de France. We did a scan on Thursday, which showed a small lesion.

‘France Doctor Franck Le Gall, and Didier Deschamps both decided to send N’Golo Kante back to his club.

‘N’Golo Kante will not be replaced in the squad. So it’s a twenty-five players that will fly out to face Kazakhstan.’

Kante will miss France’s upcoming games against Kazakhstan and Bosnia, and could be out for sometime at Chelsea.

Coach Thomas Tuchel would not be happy as Chelsea head into a crucial stage of the season.

Chelsea return back in action when the Premier League resumes on April 3.

The Blues will face Porto just four days later in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.
