Paul Pogba second half strike was enough to hand Man United a 1-0 win against AC Milan in the 2nd leg of the Europa League which ended 2-1 in aggregate, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was a poor first half encounter from the two sides who failed to make anything happen in front of goal despite multiple opportunities.
Man United was reluctant enough to make sure the home team couldn’t penetrate them easily and score a goal which they did well all through the 45 minutes of the first half.
AC Milan was frustrated as all their attempts on goal were easily dealt with, as the game progressed with them dominating and seeing more of the ball which couldn’t result in a goal.
The game progressed without anything coming out of it as the first half of the encounter ended with AC Milan 0-0 Man United as they both headed for the break with a goalless scoreline.
Second Half Report
The second half of the encounter kicked off with a high pace from both teams while the Red Devils were the most hungry side with them down by an away goal disadvantage.
Paul Pogba outstanding strike in the 48th minute broke the deadlock as Man United went ahead in the game after a finishing from the Frenchman to make it 1-0 for the away side.
AC Milan did everything possible to stage a comeback immediately but all their efforts on goal were easily dealt with as Zlatan Ibrahimovic came into the game as a substitute.
The game progressed without a goal coming for the home side who dominated play as the match ended with AC Milan 0-1 Man United which sees Utd progressed to the next round on 2-1 aggregate.
