Liverpool player Mohamed Salah scored a brace alongside one each from Elneny and Sherif as Egypt thrashed Comoros 4-0, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was an amazing first half encounter in which goals were scored as the home side dominated the entire 45 minutes.
It took Egypt just 15 minutes to open the goal scoring after Arsenal midfielder Mohamed Elneny converted to make it 1-0 for his Country.
Mohamed Sherif made it 2-0 in the 17th minute with another wonderful strike as Comoros couldn’t contain the pressure that kept coming at them.
Liverpool forward Mo Salah increased the lead to 3-0 in the 21st minute thanks to a beauty which was well deserved for the most celebrated player in Africa.
He grabbed his brace in the 25th minute of the encounter which made it 4-0 as the Egyptians were unstoppable going forward.
The first half of the encounter ended with Egypt 4-0 Comoros as they both headed for the break with advantage to the home team.
Second Half Report
The second half of the encounter was very poor as the goal dried up while the away side made things difficult for the home team.
Comoros were solid in defending as they did allow anything go past them after their first 45 minutes blunders.
Egypt were less dangerous while going forward as all their efforts on goal was dealt with easily.
The game finally came to an end with Egypt 4-0 Comoros as the home side seal off their AFCON qualifiers with three points.
