Ousmane Dembele scored and an own goal from Sergiy Malyi was enough for France to beat Kazakhstan 2-0 in their World Cup Qualifiers for 2022, MySportDab reports.
First Half Report
It was all about the away side throughout the first half of the encounter as they scored twice and dominated play.
It took France just 20 minutes to open the goal scoring as Ousmane Dembele converted to make it 1-0 after nice buildup play with assistance from Anthony Martial.
Kazakhstan endured lots of pressure in the half as the away side were too good which saw the home side conceding an own goal which came off Sergiy Malyi in the 44th minute.
The first half of the encounter progressed without anything coming out which it ended with Kazakhstan 0-2 France as they both headed for the break.
Second Half Report
The second half of the game was less entertaining with few goals being recorded as the away side couldn’t make anything happen.
Kazakhstan were much better defending in the early stages of the second 45 minutes which was filled with much better play from the home team.
France scored another goal which came through Kylian Mbappe in the 75th minute which was ruled out and ended up being canceled.
The game progressed without any goal action as more opportunities kept coming but no one to convert and make it count.
It finally came to an end with Kazakhstan 0-2 France as the away side claimed another three points in the World Cup qualifiers for 2022.
